Green Technology Solutions offers a complete lighting upgrade service including site analysis, design of a lighting solution incorporating our LEDlights - tailored to your needs if necessary, supply and installation as well as scheduled reporting.

Step 1 - Site Analysis
We conduct an analysis of your site to determine your current lighting usage and associated costs, your actual lighting needs, your upgrade costs and estimated savings. We'll package all the information into a site report and we welcome the opportunity to present it to you and your stakeholders.

We'll demonstrate our LEDlights to you so you can see for yourself the quality of the light and the energy consumption of your fluorescents compared side-by-side with our LEDlights. We'll tell you about a real world case study so you can appreciate some actual numbers and experiences of one of our clients.

Step 2 - On Site Trial
You may not be convinced by an evaluation on paper and a bench test of our product; so before you commit we can conduct an on-site trial in an area of your workplace so you can experience LEDlights first hand for a while. We're happy to discuss operational KPIs with you and if we can't meet them we'll gladly uninstall our LEDlights at no cost to you.

Step 3 - Solution Design
It may not necessarily suit you to have a straight swap of your old fluorescents. You may want increased light in some areas and reduced light in others (by windows for example). You may want high light output at a slightly higher energy cost or you may be focussed on reduced power consumption/greenhouse emissions. You may even want to look at a narrower/broader spread of light (for example to focus light in aisles).

In any case we'll discuss what your needs are and how best to produce the light you need at the running cost you want. If necessary we can custom-build LEDlight tubes to your unique requirements.

Step 4 - CapEx or OpEx
As part of our initial report we will present the upgrade costing and the options for either an upfront capital expense or a financed option. The former will obviously offer faster cost recovery while the later may have the benefit of being a self-funded exercise with no out of pocket expenses for your business. We will present the numbers for either option and dicsuss the government's green building fund and whether your business may be eligible for a grant.

Step 5 - Installation
We will schedule your upgrade at a time that best suits your business operation to minimise interruption. The typical retrofitting operation is very simple and takes around 5-10 minutes per light fixture. You will be given a comprehensive changeover procedure and schedule so that you know exactly who's doing what, and when they're doing it.

Before we begin we'll take readings with a lux meter at various points throughout your work area so that we can compare lighting levels before and after. We'll repeat the process afterwards to ensure that the lighting from our LEDlights meets the agreed requirements.

Step 6 - Periodic Monitoring
Our LEDlights are very robust and long-lasting, we guarantee them for 3 years so you won't need technicians wandering about replacing fluorescents and disrupting your staff every month. In the unlikely event that you have a problem you can simply call us and we'll identify and fix the fault free of charge including replacing any LEDlight tubes if necessary.

What we will do is drop in periodically and conduct measurements of your light levels to make sure your investment is performing year after year. We'll prepare a brief report indicating performance against our KPIs and proactively correct any drop in performance.
